Mica Sealing Bar

This custom mica sealing bar heater offers even heat distribution and replaces a more expensive alternative. Previously the client was using a costly machined block, which was bored for cartridge heaters. This custom mica heater was designed and profiled for even heat distribution (+-5°F) across the entire bar. The resulting setup is a thin mica heater sandwiched and bolted between two plates for optimum heat transfer.
