The Benefits of Electric Heat in Simulation Test Chambers

One of our customers manufactures simulation chambers that rapidly replicate the long-term effects of the sun and the environment on specific products over many years. They had determined they could create the necessary test environment by using heat and initially began by using table top gas heaters in the test chambers. As you can imagine not everyone is going to have multiple gas lines going into their labs, not to mention the potential side effects of gas, but everyone would have electricity in their facility. To meet this challenge, TUTCO Farnam took an existing Heat Torch™ design and customized it to fit perfectly into the application, while leaving the vast majority of the original test chamber's design intact. By learning about the application, we were able to adapt to the customer’s needs and provide an ideal electric heating solution.
