The heater needed to have the lowest watt density while achieving even heat spread at high temperatures It was important that it be durable and rugged The heater needed to retrofit into existing equipment Rapid heat up and cool down was important.
Solutions and their Impact
Our custom surface heater achieved a higher quality of adhesion of the image to the surface. Low watt density resulted in a substantial increase in the life of the heater. Reduced power consumption.
